Jodie Mim Goodnough has a degree in Studio Art from Montclair State University as well as a certificate in Photojournalism from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies. After spending years as a photographer working on documentary pieces and various personal projects, she has recently begun incorporating sculptural elements into her work. She is inspired by unusual combinations of materials, bright colors and the power of light.

Her current project uses dark humor and a childish sensibility to comment on the pervasive influence of the pharmaceutical industry on the everyday life of the mentally ill.
